Registered Nurse - Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) $10K sign-on bonus & $5K relocation

Overview:
Benelux Medical Staff a leading staffing agency is searching for a dedicated Medical MICU having expertise in ICU care for a Full-time position in Corpus Christi, Texas. Join our team and contribute to promoting healing and well-being by providing expert care to patients.

Responsibilities:
• Provide professional nursing care to ensure the comfort and well-being of patients in a medical facility offering diagnostic and surgical specialty services.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments, with a focus on cardiac, cancer, and stroke care.
• Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs for patients requiring specialized care.
• Participate as a primary nurse, associate nurse, team member, or team leader in planning and implementing patient care in a Level II Trauma Center.
• Direct and assist in carrying out safe aseptic techniques and procedures, maintaining high standards of care.
• Offer leadership and direction to support staff within the department, contributing to a collaborative healthcare environment.
• Contribute to emergency services, working in the leading emergency facility in the area with a specially trained team for trauma care.

Requirements
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Able to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care.
• One-year experience in nursing preferred.
• Current Texas State RN License
• CPR (American Heart Association)
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire/transfer date
• Unit Specific Requirements
• NIHSS required within 90 days of hire/transfer date
• EKG within 90 days of hire/transfer date
• ENPC or PALS required within 18 months of hire/transfer date
