Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs).
Supervise and coordinate patient care activities, ensuring adherence to established protocols, standards, and regulations.
Conduct regular rounds to assess patient needs, monitor care delivery, and address any issues or concerns.
Collaborate with physicians, nurse managers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Oversee medication administration, treatments, and procedures, ensuring accuracy, safety, and effectiveness.
Participate in performance evaluations, training programs, and staff development initiatives to enhance nursing competency and performance.
Serve as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and feedback as needed.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies and procedures.
Act as a liaison between nursing staff, patients, families, and other members of the healthcare team to facilitate communication and resolve conflicts.
