JOB TITLE: Health Service Administrator
EMPLOYER: Vision Quest Solutions

Position Summary
The Health Service Administration will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of the medical program, ensuring that patients receive adequate medical, dental, and mental health care in a correctional facility.
Key Responsibilities
· Administer and oversee all facility medical operations.
· Maintain agreements with external healthcare facilities for services not available onsite.
· Ensure compliance with OSHA, CDC, NFPA, and state/local health regulations.
· Supervise medical, dental, and mental health staff.
· Ensure 24-hour emergency medical and mental health coverage is maintained.
· Oversee documentation, inventory, and control of pharmaceuticals.
· Implement infection control, sharps disposal, and waste management procedures.
Training Requirements
· Initial and annual training in emergency medical response, CPR, and first aid.
· Annual refresher training on suicide prevention and mental health awareness.
· Sexual Abuse and Assault Prevention and Intervention training.
Qualifications
· Master’s degree in Health Administration or related field.
· Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in correctional or clinical healthcare setting.
· Minimum of 2 years management of programs and services experience.
· Possess current CPR/BLS Certification.
· If the HSA holds a clinical license, they must fulfill all obligations of their licensing or certifying body to ensure continued active status.
· Working knowledge of OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA standards.
· Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident of the U.S.
· Ability to obtain and maintain clearance if required.
