Job Description:

Join a leading Level I Trauma Center in Kansas City, KS, as part of a high-caliber Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) team. This role is perfect for experienced OR nurses with strong cardiac scrub skills who can confidently manage complex open-heart procedures and circulate in high-acuity surgical environments.

This position requires sharp clinical judgment, the ability to adapt quickly, and a willingness to support multiple OR areas including the main CVOR, Bell OR, Cambridge OR, and SPD.

Requirements:
✔️ Minimum 2 years of CVOR RN experience
✔️ Must have experience in a Level I Trauma Center
✔️ Must have recent, strong cardiac scrub experience, including:
Open-heart surgeries
Valve & bypass cases
Aortic procedures
✔️ Must have circulating experience
✔️ Active KS or Compact RN License (must be in hand)
✔️ BLS Required
✔️ Hours per week: 40
✔️ Must be willing to take call on holidays

Scheduling & Call Requirements:
Day shifts: 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts between 06:30–19:00
Weekend rotation: Required
On-Call: ~1 weekend per month
Holiday: Required
Float: Bell OR • Cambridge OR • SPD
