0029 - PACU - RN

Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia, ensuring stable vital signs
Administer medications, pain management, and oxygen therapy as needed
Identify and respond to emergency situations, including respiratory distress or adverse reactions
Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and the healthcare team to ensure safe patient recovery
Educate patients and families on post-operative care and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and interventions
Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and hospital policies

Active RN License in California 
BLS & ACLS Certifications (Required)
PALS Certification (Required)
Minimum 1-2 years of recent PACU or critical care experience (Preferred)
Strong critical thinking, rapid assessment, and patient advocacy skills
Ability to work flexible per diem shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
