Registered Nurse – Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU):
Provides patient care within the RN scope defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing. Responsibilities include assessing patients, teaching patients and families, documenting in EMRs, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care. Must demonstrate strong critical thinking, adaptability to changing patient needs, effective teaching and crisis response skills, and proficiency in computer/EMR systems.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/DEGREES
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Oregon
American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS)
American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support card or must be obtained by the last day of the month after the 6 month grace period
EXPERIENCE
Recent (within past 5 years) acute care hospital experience preferred
Acute care hospital experience in past two years or intermediate/progressive care experience preferred
Minimum of three (3) years experience
2-3 years experience in Critical Care
