Staffing Medical USA is seeking an experienced Med Surg/Telemetry RN for a fast-paced travel assignment in Redding, California.

Weekly Pay
$2,500 weekly blended pay
$29.16/hr taxable
$1,450 weekly non-taxable per diem
$74/hr OT & holiday rate

Assignment Details
Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry
Shift: 12-hour shifts, 7 AM–7 PM or 7 PM–7 AM
Patient Ratio: 1:5
Unit: 45 beds combining adult and pediatric Med Surg/Telemetry
Average LOS: Approximately 3 days
Fast-paced environment with frequent admissions, discharges, and transfers
Self-scheduling available to some degree
Schedule typically posted 30–45 days in advance
Weekend: Every other weekend or 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
Holiday: Included in the regular staff rotation
Call/standby requirement: Yes
Floating is not required; nurses may have the opportunity to float to Tele or OB if they have the appropriate experience

Active RN license eligible to work in California
2–3 years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience
Telemetry experience required
BLS required
PALS preferred
Pediatric experience preferred
Experience caring for adult Med Surg/Telemetry patients
Comfortable working in a fast-paced acute-care environment
Experience with or willingness to manage heparin and Protonix drips
Experience with CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen preferred
Available for 12-hour shifts
Must be willing to work every other weekend or 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
Must be available for the facility's holiday rotation
Must be willing to participate in call/standby requirements
Navy blue scrubs required
