MRI Tech - Pittsburgh, PA - Travel or Local - 3,000 Weekly Gross
Schedule: 8D Daylight only with varying start times; On-Call: One night per week from 5:00 pm to 7:00 am, as well as weekends (Friday 5:00 pm to Monday 7:00 am).
Compensation:
Local: Estimated pay: $59 - $64/hour
Travel: Estimated total pay: $3,040/week (taxable pay: $1,640/week; non-taxable stipends: $1,400/week)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled MRI Technologist to join our medical imaging team in Pittsburgh, PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in breast imaging and breast biopsy procedures. The position requires adherence to safety protocols and high-quality imaging standards. Additionally, the MRI Technologist will need to be flexible and available for on-call shifts during nights and weekends.
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality MRI imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards.
Operate MRI equipment and troubleshoot as needed.
Administer contrast agents as required and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
Execute breast imaging and biopsy procedures with precision and care.
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure the best patient care.
Follow strict infection control and safety guidelines.
Respond to on-call responsibilities as scheduled.
Participate in weekend shifts, including Saturday mornings and overnight on-call coverage.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
