Registered Training Nurse

Part-Time Training RN for Home Health Aide Services
Consistent Work Week Training Day: Thursdays 8:30am-4:00pm

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have current RN license in the State of Florida
3-5 Years of experience preferred.
Geriatrics, Teaching experience preferred.

The Registered Nurse – provides training and services that are required to be performed by an RN due to AHCA regulations or other requirements.

Enhances the mission and philosophy of the organization and customer service delivery by providing consultation to caregivers about clients with higher medical needs.

Essential Functions:
· Provides training on “hands on” personal care tasks for new caregivers going through orientation and existing staff needing additional training.

· Provides training in accordance with AHCA requirements: assistance with self-administration of medication and Alzheimer’s training.

· Provides supervisory visits of home health aides on assignment

· Provides supervisory visits to client homes at the request of the client and with client’s understanding of additional per visit charge.

· Supports office operations as needed. Assists the other members of the management team as needed. Completes special projects as assigned.

Participates in continuing education and ongoing training to be the best at their professional role.
