The Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist performs patient care under the direction of the department leader. Provides therapeutic and administrative services necessary for the care of the patient.
- Requirements

Education:
Graduate from a school of Respiratory Therapy.
Experience:
Previous respiratory therapy experience in an acute care setting preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
Must be certified by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and hold a current license from the Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care (KBRC). Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) recommended. - Profession
