JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Licenses: Active Texas Medical License

* Board: Board Certified

* DEA: Active Texas DEA

* Experience: Minimum 2 years full-scope midwifery experience; Minimum 2 years recent first assist experience

* Other Qualifications: First assist experience must be within past 2 years

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Provide full-scope midwifery care including intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage in a hospital setting

* Perform first assist duties during deliveries

* Provide postpartum care and well-woman gynecologic exams across the lifespan

* Support patients throughout labor and delivery

* Collaborate with 24-hour in-house OB/GYN support and Level III NICU team
