Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Critical Care

Location: Philadelphia, PA
Shift: Nights | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Schedule: 36 hours/week (3×12-hour shifts)

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity inpatient unit in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care to critically ill patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.


Key Responsibilities :

Provide direct nursing care to critically ill and unstable patients

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement individualized care plans

Monitor hemodynamic status, vital signs, and advanced life-support equipment

Administer medications, IV infusions, and blood products per protocol

Respond promptly to medical emergencies and code situations

Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other care team members

Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience in ICU settings such as MICU, SICU, CCU, or Neuro ICU

Familiarity with ventilators, cardiac monitoring, and critical care protocols

Strong time management and teamwork skills

Minimum Requirements

Active RN license (PA or compact)

Minimum 1 year of recent Critical Care experience (ICU or equivalent)

BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required

Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
