Shift: Night Shift | 6:45 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: 3x12s | Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery to join a dynamic maternity care team in Mesquite, TX. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to laboring mothers, newborns, and families, ensuring safe deliveries and positive birth experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and immediate newborn care

Perform maternal and fetal assessments, including monitoring fetal heart tracings

Assist with vaginal deliveries and support physicians/midwives during procedures

Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered

Document patient care accurately using EPIC charting system

Care for COVID-positive patients following hospital protocols

Educate and support patients and families throughout the birthing process

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes

Requirements :

Current and valid RN License

BSN preferred

BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required

Basic or AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification preferred

Experience with postpartum care and vaginal examinations preferred

Ability to work night shifts independently and as part of a team
