Private Duty Nurse

Atlantic Homecare Services is currently seeking qualified and compassionate LPNs (Licensed Practical Nurse) for Pediatric home care cases in the Raleigh/Durham area. The schedules will vary for each case. You will be placed on a case that meets your experience level and scheduling needs.

Duties would include the following:
Assistance with ADL's
Documenting vitals
Educating patients/ families
Feeding the patients
Meal preparation
Gastrostomy care
Tracheostomy care
Ventilator
General nursing care
Monitoring diet
Charting health information
Attending doctors appointments with clients
Monitoring medical status changes
Medication administration

Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience working as a licensed Nurse

- Active North Carolina (or other valid compact state nursing license) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing

- Current CPR certification through an American Heart Association or American Red Cross accredited course

- Must provide documentation of a negative TB/PPD screening (or Chest X-Ray) obtained within the past year

- Clean Criminal Background Report
