Position: RN - Psych
Location: Rochester, NY
Shift: D/E/N Rotating (12x3)
Duration: 13 Weeks + Possible extension
Pay: $25/Hr on W2 + $1,600 Weekly Stipend

Job Summary
Responsible for conducting intake assessments, gathering patient histories, and developing individualized nursing care plans. Makes nursing diagnoses, recommends treatments, and collaborates with psychiatrists and behavioral health staff on effective care strategies. Administers medications, monitors reactions, and arranges additional medical attention as needed. Provides education to patients on emotional health and supports acceptance of treatment. Ensures a safe environment, monitors vital signs, and manages pain care. Maintains accurate medical records, documentation, and confidentiality. Completes administrative tasks, including filing, answering phones, and progress notes. Delivers professional, compassionate, and high-quality service to patients and the public.
