About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physicians Assistant to join our growing primary care team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive, compassionate care to patients across the lifespan, focusing on preventive health, chronic disease management, and patient education.
Responsibilities
Provide primary care services to patients of all ages, including health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment.
Manage acute and chronic illnesses in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests; prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate.
Perform routine procedures (e.g., suturing, joint injections, immunizations).
Promote wellness and preventive care through patient education and counseling.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation in the EMR system.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Qualifications
Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing/ Physician Assistant from an accredited program.
Licensure: Current Nurse Practitioner/Physicians Assistant license in [Virginia]; Board Certified .
Experience: [1–3+ years] of primary care or family medicine experience preferred (new graduates encouraged to apply).
Skills: Excellent clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered care.
