RN School Nurse

Pay Rate: $46-$54 per hour

Duties:

Provide dedicated 1:1 care for a diabetic patient, ensuring safety, comfort, and well-being.

Administer medications as prescribed, monitor for any changes, and promptly report updates to the office staff.

Maintain detailed shift notes documenting the patient’s condition, daily activities, and any concerns.

Serve as a liaison between the family, physicians, and clinical office staff to ensure coordinated care.

Ensure all medical equipment is functioning properly and maintain a clean, safe working environment.

Assist the patient with activities of daily living (ADLs) during school hours, promoting independence and quality of life.

Must have experience working with diabetic patients, including monitoring blood sugar levels and recognizing signs of complications.

Completion of Nursing Program
Current NYS License
BLS Certification
