Ambulatory Clinic RN

Duties of the RN:
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and responses to treatments
- Assist with procedures such as spinal taps and ostomy care
- Provide airway management and respiratory support as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication administration, and self-care techniques
- Utilize electronic medical record systems such as eClinicalWorks to document patient information accurately
- Ensure proper sterilization and processing of medical equipment in accordance with infection control protocols

Skills:
- Familiarity with ambulatory surgery center operations and procedures
- Proficiency in sterile processing techniques and maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Knowledge of durable medical equipment (DME) usage and maintenance
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to provide coding for billing purposes

This position requires a valid Registered Nurse license. The successful candidate must also have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, candidates should possess strong critical thinking skills and the ability to make sound clinical judgments.
