Under general supervision, provides comprehensive nursing care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions, from simple to complex. Ensures safe, effective, and compassionate care while maintaining compliance with professional standards and organizational policies.
Essential Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care for an assigned group of patients, ensuring individualized and continuous care.
Document patient assessments, responses to treatment, and progress accurately and promptly.
Assist physicians during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
Monitor, assess, and record patients’ physiological data and promptly respond to any changes in condition.
Administer medications and intravenous therapies in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
Deliver competent and evidence-based patient care across all assigned responsibilities.
Educate and involve patients and families in care planning and discharge instructions.
Explain hospital procedures and care processes clearly to patients and families.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Delegate appropriate tasks to support staff and oversee their performance.
General Responsibilities:
Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care and unit operations.
Pay Details:
Local: $57 per hour
Traveler: $2,286 weekly total (includes $26/hour on W2 and $1,350 weekly stipend)
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and clinical procedures.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to deliver culturally sensitive care to diverse patient populations.
Proficiency in basic computer and EMR systems.
