Care for Newborns in Utica's Serene Setting!

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Registered Nurse specializing in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the heart of Utica. We are seeking passionate and skilled nurses for a travel/contract position that offers an estimated gross salary of $2,806 per week. You'll have the opportunity to work with our precious newborns in a progressive environment, equipped with 13 to 8 NICU beds, where private rooms are the norm. The RN-to-patient ratio varies from 1:1 to 3, allowing for a focused and personalized approach to care.

As a critical part of our NICU team, applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Level II or III NICU care, with a solid understanding of the unique challenges faced by our tiniest patients. Required certifications include BLS and NRP at the time of submission, with PALS and STABLE needed prior to your start. This role involves variable 12-hour shifts, requiring flexibility to work both days and nights. Familiarity with Epic and the willingness to float to maternal care or possibly pediatrics is essential. 12 HOUR VARIABLE SHIFTS (MUST BE WILLING TO WORK DAYS AND NIGHTS)
3+ years in NICU (some level II or III experience is mandatory, preferably 3+ yrs of level II/III)
BLS, NRP Required at time of submission
PALS and STABLE required prior to start.
Number of beds: 13 to 8 NICU beds (private rooms), additional beds in open bay overflow
RN Ratio: 1:1 to 3
Epic experience required
Floating: MB, possibly peds or any other adult floor if needed (helping hands if outside their scope)
