Registered Nurse - NICU

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of infant care and hospital medicine, with a commitment to providing high-quality care to our most vulnerable patients. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to critically ill newborns while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized nursing care for infants in the NICU, monitoring vital signs and assessing patient conditions.
Administer medications and injections as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
Conduct thorough physical examinations and document findings accurately in patient records.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educate families on infant care practices, discharge instructions, and follow-up care requirements.
Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with hospital policies and standards.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practices within the NICU setting.

Experience

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to neonatal care.
Previous experience in a hospital setting, particularly within an Ambulatory Surgery Center or NICU, is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to administer injections safely and effectively.
Familiarity with standards of care specific to neonatal patients.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
