Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide Instrutor


South Central College is accepting applications for an unlimited full-time Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide Faculty. We are seeking an instructor dedicated to excellence in teaching who desires being part of a creative, vibrant, student-centered learning community. This position will be based on the Faribault campus.

The successful candidate will teach instructional lecture, lab, and simulated clinical courses in Nursing Assistant. They will provide continuous curriculum development, including design, revisions, and implementation of instructional materials and assessment of learner outcomes.

Requirements
Education Requirement:

Diploma or associate degree in nursing.


Occupational Experience Requirement:

Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience of direct patient care, one year must be in long term care.


Recency Requirement:

One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) post secondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
