NursePower/Med-Call is looking for LPNs who are interested in pursuing Pediatric Private Duty positions across Chicagoland and surrounding Suburbs with competitive pay rates. If you are open to something new, we would love to speak with you!

These positions offer flexible shifts along with the opportunity for a stable and long-term role working with children and young adults. Full-Time, Part-time, and weekend hours are available. NursePower offers an excellent compensation and benefit package. We provide paid training, weekly paychecks, direct deposit, paid time off, 401K, and medical insurance plans for our full- time nurses.

At least 6 months’ experience in Pediatrics, Med-Surg, Private Duty, Home Health, or School Nursing preferred. New graduates are welcome to apply!

Requirements

Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required.
Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals.
Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor.
Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention.
Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable.
Providing G tube feedings, Tracheostomy Care, Nebulizer Treatments, and Medication Administration, Ventilator Care (not a requirement-onsite training offered) as well other interventions to keep patient/client comfortable and safe in their home.
