Med Surg & MS/Tele Ratios: 1:6 with occasional 1:7. This is a fast pace/high case load facility – please ensure candidates are cleared on the job requirements prior to submitting
Experience Required: 2 years
First time travelers are accepted
Floating Required: Must be willing to float within specialty and between campuses (4.5 miles away)
Certifications required: BCLS
Skills required: MS/Tele and Telemetry Experience, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response experience, Post MI, IV Insulin Protocols, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management and Renal Failure, IV Therapy/Phlebotomy, PCA, CVA, Surgical Drains, and Respiratory/Thoracic experience
Skills preferred: Experience with Traumatic Brain Injuries, Ortho Trauma, Peripheral Nerve Block Catheters, and Total Joint Replacements
EMR experience required though Meditech Expanse training is covered during orientation
