Description

Wound Care RN

Wound Care Nurses needed to work in Queens, NY. These positions are contract to hire. Qualified candidates will have three (3) years of wound care experience, NYS License and CWCN, WCC, CWS, OR CWON certification. Salary $77-83/hr
• Assist in developing and maintaining plan of care
• Participate in Interdisciplinary meetings
• Make regularly scheduled and PRN visits to patients to provide quality nursing care
• Care for patients by completing the nursing process; collaborating with Wound Care NP and multidisciplinary team members.
• Provide physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families.
• Identify patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand care requirements.
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families


Requirements
You must be a compassionate and empathetic clinical professional with the ability to provide the highest standards of care to our patients. It is also important to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact in a positive and motivating manner.
• Successful completion of a RN training program and certification by the State Board of Registered Nursing.
• A current license to practice nursing in the state of New York.
• A CWCN, WCC, CWS, OR CWON certification
