Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Med-Surg/Telemetry setting.

Monitor and interpret telemetry and EKG readings accurately.

Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and assist with treatments and procedures as ordered.

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.

Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.

Document all care activities and observations in the EMR (EPIC or equivalent).

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and safety procedures.

Qualifications (Legally Required)

Active California RN License – Required

BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association) – Required

Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg/Telemetry experience – Required

Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation

A valid California RN License is required.
BLS, ACLS, NHISS, and PALS
