Job Summary:
The RN for the Observation and Med-Surg Unit is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients. This role involves critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication

Salary Range:
- $30.69 per hour (2 years of experience)
- $33.71 per hour (5 years of experience)
- Up to $43.20 per hour (17+ years of experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $20,000

Unit Characteristics:
- High patient turnover
- Fast-paced environment
- Frequently sees chest pain patients
- RNs with Observation or Emergency Room experience typically perform well
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Observation and Med-Surg Unit
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans

- 1 year of recent (within the last year) Observation/Med-Surg acute care RN experience (ER RN experience considered)
- Florida RN license or appropriate compact licensure (active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire if holding a compact license)
- Current BLS certification
- Bachelor’s Degree or Registered Nurse Diploma from an accredited school of Nursing
