Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Per diem - $30/hour - Self-schedule

We are looking for an LPN to join the Zeal team! This position involves filling open shifts at a Skilled Nursing and Rehab Facilities in Edgerton, Madison, and/or Oregon, WI. Per diem and short term contract AM, PM, and NOC shifts available. Position Requirements

· Licensed as an LPN in the state of Wisconsin

· CPR Certified

· Minimum of one (1) year LPN experience

Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) provide routine care, observe patients’ health, assist doctors and registered nurses, and communicate instructions to patients regarding medication, personal care, and preventative lifestyle changes.

Position Responsibilities

· Provide bedside care

· Administer medications and document therapeutic effects

· Take vital signs

· Turn or reposition patients

· Lift patients into beds, wheelchairs, exam tables, etc.

· Collect samples and monitor catheters

· Provide wound care

· Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas

· Maintain accurate documentation of progress such as services performed

· Report any changes in patient behavior or symptoms; seek help when needed

Other Responsibilities

· Completes required orientation as directed by facility

· Follows facility and OSHA safety rules and procedures while on assignment

· Follows facility Unusual Occurrence Protocol

· Respects cultural and religious practices of patients

· Upholds HIPAA regulations

· Punctual and dependent for assigned/confirmed shifts

· Licensed as an LPN in the state of Wisconsin

· CPR Certified

· Minimum of one (1) year LPN experience

$30/hour plus additional $3/hour for working COVID units
