RN - CVOR - 8 Hour Rotating Shifts (8 Hour Shifts fall between the hours of 6am-6:30pm) **Days/Evenings**Will work 8 Hour Days during the Week and 12 Hour Shifts on Weekends they work, depending on scheduled cases.OR 10 suites main OR 4 suites Surgery Center 2 suites Women’s surgery** 38 Hour Guarantee. Weekend Rotation Required. On Call 1-2 x Per Week and Every 3rd Weekend.13 Week Contract. Start Date: 10-23-17. (FS) The hospital is currently looking for RN's with 2 years of Cardiovascular experience. The positions will be working flex shifts on days/evenings, with highest percentage of hours falling between 6:30am and 6pm.• Main OR does about 30-35 cases per day• Certs required: BLS• RN’s need to be able to circulate and scrub • Heavy Ortho 50% of cases – total joints, sports medicine, use 2 scrubs for these cases• Lots of neuro 30% of cases – lots of spines, fusions, limited cranies• Remaining 20% is general but not simple cases, all easy appy’s hernia repairs etc are done at an outpt surgical center so hospital cases are more difficult. Gastric bypass, lap nephrectomies, urology, cysto etc.• Use PICIS charting, OR has a pharmacy during the day and Accudose after 5pm• Nice to have c-section experience as well for ocassional cases• Must be a TEAM PLAYER, work together, help scrub and tech setup etc.• Call 1-2 x week and every 3rd weekend• Dayshifts, 8 hour weeks and 12 hour weekends, need to be flexible. Neuro is a huge plus as that is their greatest need for now. However if they also had strong Ortho that would be even better! They see ENT patients 1 day a week so it is not cirtical if they do not have that experience. General is a MUST! they do total replacments but again total experience is not required.Functions at the Standard Level of nursing practice. Responsible for independently applying the nursing process through the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of pediatric patient care. Selects and administers the appropriate care taking into consideration the age and developmental level and size of the patient. Provides a caring relationship that facilitates health and healing. Should be able to identify own limitations and seek resources as needed. All stipends provided are already factored into gross weekly total. We also provide a round trip flight or mileage reimbursement ($0.50 a mile, capped at $1,000 Per 13-Week Contract). We do not provide rental cars on this assignment.
• ND or Compact State RN License.
• ACLS Certification (Must Be AHA).

• Previous Travel Experience- Preferred.
• Our company's Joint Commission standards require 1-year experience in this field within the past 3 years to qualify. This experience must be documented on your resume!
