Reporting to the Senior Assistant Vice President, Nursing in the Office Patient Centered Care (OPCC), this position will work across departments and facilities to support organizational goals and system wide initiatives with an emphasis on improving efficiency, effectiveness, patient and staff experience and patient care. The OPCC Director will be responsible for collaborating with key personnel throughout the enterprise with the goal of driving consistency in policy, procedures, clinical practice, performance and outcomes. This position will be responsible for the ongoing implementation and monitoring of assigned programs, projects, and initiatives; data collection instrument development, and database management. The appropriate candidate will have experience in health analytics and hospital administration. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: -Demonstrated experience in managing large scale projects, as well as managing organizational change. -Ongoing implementation and monitoring of assigned OPCC projects, initiatives, programs. -Ability to plan, organize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously -Data collection instrument development, database management, audits, report generation as appropriate. -Health analytics - Conduct analyses on utilization and other performance related trends and indicators. -Participate in special projects outside of the OPCC to support NYC H+H transformation goals and objectives. -Identify opportunities for process improvements, provide analysis, propose change and communicate strategies. -Identify key business issues and develop appropriate action plans for multidisciplinary perspectives designed to address them; negotiate time commitments and resources. -Determine goals and priorities with management team sponsors and proactively communicates their status and any risks and issues to those stakeholders. -Interface regularly with senior management to produce timely and valuable results. -Strong Microsoft Office skills tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project and SharePoint. -Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment -Strong analytical and problem solving abilities -Ability to work independently and as part of a fast moving team -Due to the responsibilities of your position, you may, periodically be required to work beyond your regularly scheduled hours.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

1. A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Public Health, Public or Hospital Administration, Health Care Specialization, Business Administration or related disciplines\
2. A NYS Registered Nursre
3. A minimum of four years of progressively responsible experience directly related to health care program planning, research, design, operations, evaluation and analysis, with at least one year in supervision or planning and/or analysis; or,
4. Demonstrated understanding of Project Management
5. Large scale database management

Department Preferences:

-At least three years of experience in large urban markets with diverse socio-economic patient population in care and/or case management
-Four years of experience in a senior management role within a large, progressive and complex healthcare environment
-Master’s degree in health-related studies
-Effective and proactive use of performance metrics
-Demonstrated leadership skills
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to time manage, project manage and people manage effectively with a high level of professionalism, service excellence and responsiveness
-Large scale strategic and project management skills
