The Nursing Instructor for Health and Home Care Training of New England (HHCTNE) will be responsible for the education of current and future nursing students. The Nursing Instructor is responsible for designing curricula, teaching and guiding students, evaluating the students' progress, writing or reviewing educational material, assisting and supporting students in the preparation for hands-on, clinical work experience and supervising the on-site clinical experience.
The Nursing Instructor is a motivated and dedicated teacher, with up-to-date nursing licenses and have at least three years of experience working in a long-term care facility.

Specific Responsibilities:
 Mentoring and teaching current and future nursing assistant and home health aide students.
 Designing, delivering, and evaluating educational curricula.
 Lecturing and guiding class discussions.
 Overseeing independent study.
 Supervising lab and clinical work.
 Evaluating and grading students’ work.
 Documenting the students' progress and advising them on their educational journey.
 Assisting students prepare for their work-based experience in clinical settings.
 Educating students on the technical and patient care training required to secure their health career credential.

Job Requirements

Candidates need to be either a licensed practical nurse or a registered nurse and you MUST have at least three years of experience in a long term care facility.
