Intensive Care Nurse - ICU Nurse - (ICU RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 D/N Pay Rate: $3665.00 - 4040.00

24/7 Care for Patients & Peace of Mind for Families
Time in an ICU can be overwhelming. Rely on the high-quality care, communication and compassion provided by your ICU care team. You’ll receive continuous monitoring and attention from specially-trained critical care nurses, physicians and support staff.
In addition to the latest in critical care equipment and techniques, ICU features throughout the region may include:
•Hospital-based location for easy access to additional specialized services
•In-room kidney dialysis
•Lounges with entertainment, refreshments and amenities for family and friends
•Private patient rooms optimized for a quieter, healing environment
•Support services from social workers, case managers and pastoral care
Specialized Trauma Team
Benefit from access to Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center’s Trauma Team, based in Sioux Falls, SD. This team of experts delivers trauma care starting with initial treatment through critical care and rehabilitation.
The Trauma Team has a trauma surgeon prepared to respond 24/7 and provides around-the-clock coverage in key areas, including:
•Anesthesia
•Respiratory therapy
•Laboratory
•Pharmacy
•Radiology
•Surgery
•Chaplaincy
Each Trauma Team special care unit is prepared to assist with specific treatment for needs, such as:
•Surgical
•Neuroscience
•Burn care
•Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
•Orthopedic
•Intensive care, including pediatric and neonatal intensive care
Required Qualifications
2 years RN exp
SD Compact
BLS
ACLS
Preferred Qualifications
2 years neuro or critical care experience preferred
