Licensed Vocational Nurse LVN/LPN - per diem and contract

OVERVIEW:
We are hiring per-diem LVN/LPN’s to join our team immediately. LVN/LPN Experience is required. 

The Licensed Vocational Nurse supervises staff and oversees patient care in accordance with standards of care and practice and applicable state/federal regulations. The LVN follows facility policies and procedures while providing and coordinating resident care.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervises Certified Nursing Assistants during shift including assigning and distributing work, performance management, training new staff, and ensuring work is being performed according to facility standards. 
Monitors and oversees patient care to ensure that care plans and physician’s orders are being followed by conducting rounds.
Documents changes in condition and contacts physician or family members as required.
Accurately administers medication and treatments. May include IV therapy, if certified.
Once hired and onboarded, you will use our app to book LVN/LPN shifts at our partner facilities (including long-term care and skilled nursing facilities).
Other duties may be assigned.

REQUIRED PAPERWORK:

All applicants must be able to provide or obtain the following during the application process:

Active LVN/LPN License
Valid Driver’s License/State I.D.
CPR/BLS certification
Physical Exam (completed within the last year)
TB Test (completed in the last year)
There will also be a background check and some training requirements.
