Family Nurse Practitioner Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facilities in Portsmouth, Virginia

A mobile unit is seeking a family nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Portsmouth, VA.
This is a 3-month NP-only assignment starting in June, with the option to extend. The credentialing process typically takes 34 weeks but will be expedited to launch the program quickly. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. This is a new program serving adults only, so patient volume will ramp up gradually, with expectations set collaboratively with the provider. Candidates must be FNP-certified with a valid VA license and DEA registration. Experience in behavioral health and Suboxone is highly preferred. The provider will be supported by a driver who also serves as security, and the EMR system used is Credible. There is no call required.
