Ultrasound Technologist (General)
Location: Dallas, TX
Schedule: Night Shift (3x12s, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Sun–Tue)
About the Role
Seeking a General Ultrasound Technologist to join the Radiology/Cardiology team. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic sonographic procedures with accuracy, compassion, and efficiency in a teaching hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform high-quality general ultrasound imaging for diverse patient populations (infants, adults, geriatrics).
Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure accurate image capture for physician review.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Radiology, Respiratory Services, IV Teams, and Rapid Response.
Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality in accordance with hospital standards.
Document procedures and findings using the Epic charting system.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent Ultrasound Tech experience (general).
Certifications: BLS (Required).
Charting System: Epic experience required.
Teaching hospital experience: Preferred.
Licensure: Active Texas state license (or eligibility).
