Magnet facility seeking a strong Labor and Delivery nurse in the city of Irvine. Irvine is a city in Orange County, California, which started developing the area in the 1960s. Kaiser Irvine opened in 2008 and supported by more than 1,100 employees, the modern Orange CountyIrvine Medical Center offers advanced technology with a personal touch. Currently, the facility has 150 beds (with capability to expand to 250), 100 percent private rooms, a 36-bed Emergency Department, eight labor and delivery rooms, 70 physician offices, and an on-site occupational health center. Thoughtful design, comfortable furnishings, and inspiring artwork help our expert caregivers maintain a restful environment. Spacious visiting areas and a meditative healing garden give friends and family relaxing places to gather. And each private room is family friendly, featuring pullout beds for overnight stays and wireless Internet access. Specialty centers at this facility include joint replacement surgery, interventional radiology, and cosmetic surgery. In partnership with local growers, our facility hosts a weekly year-round farmers market to encourage healthy eating and support local agriculture. The medical center is supported by satellite medical offices in the surrounding communities of Anaheim, Anaheim Hills, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, La Palma, Brea, Mission Viejo, Aliso Viejo, Yorba Linda, San Juan Capistrano, Irvine, Orange, Tustin, Costa Mesa, and Santa Ana.

Required Qualifications
Registered Nurse, LD

Preferred Qualifications
Health Connect Experience
Scrub experience a plus
Bachelors degree in nursing or related field.
One year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years
High Risk OB experience preferred
