RN or equivalent licensed healthcare professional with current Alabama Licensure
Relevant experience in healthcare business development, marketing and admissions preferred
Strong leadership skills
Ability to communicate and network within the community
Long term care, hospital case management and MDS experience a plus
Computer and social media skills
Job Duties/Required Skills:
Conduct pre-admission assessment of potential patients, to identify patients for potential admission into the TLC system, determine level of care, services required, equipment needs and insurance coverage, as indicated
Ensure appropriate clinical acceptance in a timely manner and coordinate admissions with facility staff
Conduct competitive analysis and the development/implementation of the facility’s marketing plan
Act as a liaison between transferring institutions and the facility; establish a good rapport with transferring institutions.
Participate in industry trade shows and business development activities, as assigned
Maintain high visibility of the facility in the community to promote its reputation as a resource for issues of long-term health care
Create and manage a fluid target list of contacts and decision makers in assigned hospitals and in the community
Achieve facility’s census and case mix goals and annual budget projections through effective admissions and marketing activities
Demonstrate respect and compassion in every interaction.
