*About – Position & Practice*: Located in North Decatur, GA, we are seeking a dynamic, dedicated Registered Nurse with supervisory skills to manage the day to day operations of a two physician single specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center.

Relevant Experience: ER / ICU / GI / PACU / Endo / Surg / OR / ASC / Pre- / post-op / clinical coordinator / endoscopy / gastro / ASC / registered nurse / RN

This Registered Nurse / RN / ASC Clinical Coordinator opportunity is a full time position; however, the center is open to a part time job sharing opportunity for the right individuals.

This position is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented, patient friendly multi-tasker who is seeking a lower volume, quality over quantity approach to practicing medicine.A high level of preference will be given to those candidates having prior experience working in an ASC, as well as working knowledge of both State and AAAHC credentialing requirements.A stable work history with proven leadership qualities is also highly desirable.

*Duties may include but are not limited to*:

Day to day staff supervision and determining staffing needs on a daily basis.
Coordination and ongoing monitoring of required training and certifications for staff.
Facility maintenance.
Oversee policy compliance.
Submit and maintain regulatory documents.
Phlebotomy, IV infusions, Start IVs.
Pre- and post- op patient care.
Quarterly Benchmarking, QA studies & In-Services (2x per year).
Policy & Procedure & AAAHC standards (maintain and become a subject expert).
Administer biologic therapy with physician oversight.
Inventory control, assist with supply ordering to maintain acceptable levels in an efficient manner.
Administrative duties as deemed necessary.
Assist Research Department with drawing labs, administer meds, and modules for certifications.
Labeling & pre-filling syringes.

*Required Qualifications*:

Active RN license and currently living in the Atlanta Area.
2+ years experience.
Supervisory skills in a Surgery Center setting.
Current ACLS certification – otherwise must be acquired within 3 months of hire.
Recent RN experience in Endoscopy, Ambulatory Surgery, Endoscopy / GI, ER, ICU, PACU, Operating Room, OR, and/or Pre-op / Post-Operative Services, or equivalent.
Computer literate.
Has established a track record of producing high quality work that is highly accurate, demonstrates attention to detail and reflects well on the organization.
Excellent organizational skill with attention to detail.
Ability to provide a minimum of 3 references upon request.
Must be able to pass criminal background check.
Have a comfort level for communicating with physicians and Administrator.

*Preferred Qualifications*:

Gastroenterology and related ASC surgical equipment requirements.
Recent AAAHC accreditation experience.
Experience with creating QA studies.
Leadership ability.
Knowledge of determining staffing requirements.
