Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN), Infection Prevention

Location: Boys Town National Research Hospital- East

$5,000.00 HIRING BONUS!

Schedule: Full-Time, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Monday-Friday, On-Call as needed

Responsibilities:
Assists with planning, implementation, and evaluation the Infection Prevention Program and its objectives.

Assists with the collection, preparation, and presentation of infection prevention information for the Infection Prevention Committee.

Serves as a resource regarding communicable diseases and the implementation of infection control policies and procedures.

Assists with collecting, analyzing, and dissemination of infection prevention data from surveillance activities; prepares statistical data to identify and analyze trends; recommends actions to improve performance.

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of accredited school of nursing, BSN required; Master's degree in nursing, education, or other healthcare field is preferred

Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in clinic, ambulatory surgical, or hospital setting
Infection control/prevention experience preferred

Must possess a current valid RN License

Certification in Infection Prevention & Control (CIC), is preferred

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to problem solve and function independently in areas of responsibility

Must maintain patient and employee confidentiality

BLS certification required

Must have a means of transportation between BTNRH sites.
