99 Bed facility. 6 FTE's in the Pharmacy
General Duties
1 Directs all activities of the Pharmacy.
2. Responsible for interpreting, supporting and executing hospital and department policies and procedures.
3 Responsible for the recruitment, training, supervision and evaluation of Pharmacy personnel.
4 Prepare annual employee performance evaluations. Provide constructive assistance to enable staff members to assess their own strengths and weaknesses.
5. Prepares budget for department.
6 Provide adequate staff coverage through scheduling. Be available as a resource person as necessary.
7. Monitors activities within the Pharmacy to stay consistent and in compliance with any outside accreditation agencies..
8. Evaluate new products and provide input into the training process for use of new products.
9. Demonstrates approved protocols and ensures staff awareness in Pharmaceutical dispensing and storage.
10. Prepare and maintain a current department policy and procedure manual.
11. Responsible for training department staff to the EOC standards and protocols. Demonstrate Emergency procedures during a Security incident.
12. Effectively supervises subordinates in a way which increases productivity and employee morale.
