Position/Specialty: FLOAT POOL RN - ICU,MS, ED EXPERIENCE REQUIRED; this is a full-time float position and they will go between ICU/ED/MedSurg throughout the day as needed

Ratios: 1:2
Years of experience REQ: 2 years of experience required.
First-timers accepted: NO; looking for candidates that have prior travel exp and are comfortable floating across units as needed
Weekend REQ: Every other weekend
Certs REQ: ACLS, BLS, PALS required. NIH and TNCC preferred. All certifications/licensure specified in job description must be sent with submission.
Is on-call REQ? NO
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs?
YES THIS IS A FLOAT POOL ROLE; will float to sister facility 15 minutes away as needed

Locals accepted: YES
Pending License accepted: Must have state/compact license in hand.
RTO Restrictions: 1 request – Finalized RTO sent at time of submission. No RTO within first two weeks of start date, no more than 10 days. No full calendar weeks of RTO accepted.

Guaranteed Hours:
Contracted hours guaranteed
8 Rule: 40.00 hours per 1 week
10 Rule: 40.00 hours per 1 week
12 Rule: 36.00 hours per 1 week

Special Requirements: Para/thoracentesis, intubation, central line placement, art line placement, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, care of ventilated patients required.
Other/Notes: Rapid response team consists of members from each department. As an ICU nurse, they response to rapid responses also.
Flu shot required during flu season (October 1 - March 31)
