Lead with Compassion at Elena's Manor Nursing Director!

Elena’s Manor Senior Living is a memory care community dedicated to providing compassionate, person-centered care for residents living with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides clinical leadership and direct nursing services, ensuring safe, high-quality care and promoting the well-being of each resident. The RN coordinates assessments, care planning, medication management, and staff training while maintaining compliance with all state and federal guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Complete comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and care teams.

Provide clinical oversight for resident care and ensure care plans are accurate and up to date.

Delegate nursing tasks and provide training and competency evaluations for caregivers and medication aides.

Monitor and audit medication administration for accuracy, safety, and compliance.

Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities focused on resident health and safety.

Serve as a clinical liaison with physicians, pharmacies, hospice, and other healthcare providers.

Educate residents and families about health conditions, treatment options, and care goals.

Maintain thorough documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).

Mentor and support caregiving staff while modeling Elena’s Manor’s values of compassion, dignity, and integrity.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; current Oregon RN license required.

Current BLS/CPR certification.

Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience; experience in assisted living, memory care, or geriatrics preferred.

Strong assessment, delegation, and care planning skills.

Knowledge of state and federal assisted living regulations, HIPAA, and OSHA standards.

Proficiency in EHR systems and Microsoft Office.

Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist residents with mobility.

Frequent standing, walking, and bending.

Possible exposure to blood-borne pathogens and cleaning chemicals; PPE provided.

Schedule and Availability:
Full-time position with required on-call availability for after-hours and weekend support.

Employment Conditions:
This position is at-will and exempt from overtime under FLSA professional exemption. Employment is contingent upon successful background check, drug screen, and compliance with state criminal history rules.
