This hospital is a The Joint Commission-accredited, Medicare-certified 171-bed hospital located in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. It is a joint venture between PHC-Lake Havasu, Inc. and many community physicians. Through this ongoing collaboration, we are able to identify and focus on the elements that make for a quality-driven healthcare environment for our patients. As a community hospital and a regional referral center for healthcare, we offer a broad and comprehensive scope of services in major medical disciplines. A medical staff of more than 100 affiliated physicians represents a broad cross-section of expertise in 31 medical specialties.

Required Qualifications

AZ or compact license
BLS, ACLS

Travel experience

ABOUT THE FACILITY
This licensed 181-bed acute care facility is fully accredited by the Joint Commission. Located a few hours from Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Phoenix, the 24-hour emergency service center is a state certified ALS Base hospital. More than 100 affiliated physicians and allied health professionals comprise the medical staff and represent a broad cross-section of specialty areas.

FACILITY LOCATION
Lake Havasu is known as a party community town and during World War II was a US Army Air Corps camp. “London Bridge” which was brought over from England and completed in 1971 is now a favorite tourist attraction in Lake Havasu. During Spring Break many university students go there on vacation and MTV has featured Lake Havasu twice as a fun social spot to go to.
