Responsibilities include the design, facilitation and implementation of developmental strategies to assist students, across the curriculum, working with multiple campus constituencies at all levels including faculty, and coordinating remediation efforts on behalf of identified students. Responsibilities include monitor the academic progress of nursing students with specific focus on identifying students that need additional assistance to be successful and to collaborate with applicable departments to ensure the student receives the appropriate support required. The Student Success Coordinator evaluates the effectiveness of initiatives, recommends new methods to improve student performance and proposes developments in curriculum to address specific subject areas. Oversees students at risk for failure and conducts and monitors remediation workshops and tutorials, and develops methods to ensure graduates academic and professional success.

Job Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Master’s degree in Nursing, Health Sciences or Education, preferred.
State RN license by NCLEX examination.
Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience required.
Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish (verbal and written). Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, challenging work environment.
