The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. The SLP works with patients of all ages to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that improve communication and swallowing abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapy to improve communication and swallowing functions.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
Maintain accurate patient records and progress notes.
Educate patients and families on communication strategies and home exercises.
Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations.
Current state SLP license.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in healthcare or educational settings is a plus.
