Outpatient Clinic Nurse - (Outpt RN)
StartDate: 12/17/2019Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $1427.00 - 1574.00
Provides primary nursing care to patients undergoing a course of stereotactic radiosurgery using Cyberknife. The nurse teaches and counsels patient and family, performs symptom identification and management, coordinates, schedules and monitors results of diagnostic studies, makes appropriate patient referrals, and triages patient phone calls. Responsibilities also include maintaining and cleaning emergency medical equipment, and providing a clinical resource, inclusive of teaching materials, for facility staff and patients. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and the hospitals philosophy, policies, procedures and standards.
Required Qualifications
2 years experience in oncology nursing
DC license in hand is required
BSN
Flu shot required
Preferred Qualifications
Radiation Oncology experience
Previous travel is preferred
