Responsibilities and duties • As a utilization nurse you will decide the care that is to be given to each patient that is under their care • You will review the condition of the patient and the doctor's orders and then formulate a treatment plan which is followed by the nurses • Must carefully review the insurance the patient has and then devise upon a treatment plan • Must regularly check the condition of the patient and check if the treatment is working to their desire • Will to talk to the doctor before starting on the treatment plan and get their approval for the plan • Will talk to the family of the patient and help them understand the treatment plan

• A RN degree from nursing school
• Registration as a nurse in the state AZ
• 2 years’ experience having done patient case
management
• Physical and TB Test within the last year
• Proof of MMR/MMR Titers
• BLS Certification
• Able to work 8a to 4:30p
