At Reliant Pediatric, we are looking for qualified pediatric nurses who are seeking growth within a company that provides one-on-one patient care in a home environment. We also provides skill-enhancement training, in-home training with seasoned nurse, growth within the company, and annual in-services to further improve hands on skills. Our dedicated clinical and operations team is available to support you when there are any questions or concerns while you care for our patients. Reliant also provides our nurses with tablets in the home for easy clinical documentation within our EMR system. While you work with our patients, you will encounter certain task that are essential to patient care, which include, but not limited to: Emergency management, enteral feedings, tracheostomy management, ventilator management, and IV therapy. These essential nursing tasks help us provide quality patient care and safety for our patients and caregivers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide Safe, excellent and healthy patient care using knowledge and skills in accordance with Reliant Health Care Group:
Conducts an individualized patient assessment, prioritizing the data collection based on the patient’s immediate condition or needs within time frame specified facility’s policies, procedures or protocols.
Reviews and follows supervision based on the patient's individualized plan of care.
Maintaining safe home environment and appropriate use of equipment.
Provide effective communication to patient/family, team members, and other healthcare professionals as evidenced by clinical notes, case conferences and communication notes.
Provide health education to client and/or caregiver.
Documents interim changes of Patients health.
Must be knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post-acute care facility as it pertains to private duty nursing.

Active RN, LVN/LPN license
Current CPR, BLS, ACLS, or PALS
G-Button/G-Tube, Trach and Vent Experience
Basic computer experience (Microsoft systems)
Valid TX drivers’ license and evidence of automobile insurance
