Job Description:
As Director of Surgical Services, you will lead the perioperative team to ensure safe patient care and effective operations, while identifying and resolving service-related issues. Participate in hospital committees to improve communication and collaboration and ensure compliance with care standards. The role involves providing coaching and development for staff, overseeing surgical services programs, and managing finances to optimize resources. Additionally, building strong relationships to achieve departmental goals and support growth initiatives to make the operating room the preferred choice for physicians, patients, and staff.

Shift: Days
Salary Range: $113,963 - $170,955/year (based on experience)
Bonus: 15% Director Bonus
Sign-On & Relocation Bonuses: Negotiable
Responsibilities:
- Lead the perioperative team with a focus on safe patient care and effective operations management.
- Identify and solve real/potential problems affecting the service.
- Participate actively in hospital-wide committees, enhancing communication and collaboration.
- Advance customer experience and ensure consistent compliance with standards of care.
- Provide feedback, coaching, and development opportunities for subordinates.
- Build strong relationships to meet organizational and departmental goals.
- Oversee surgical services programs, ensuring quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
- Manage departmental finances, ensuring proper utilization of resources.
- Support growth initiatives for Surgical Services.

- 3 years of recent operating room management experience required.
- MSN required
- Current Texas RN license required.
- CNOR preferred
- CSSM preferred.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to mentor future leaders.
