We are seeking a Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team! You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients.


Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans
Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
Maintain accurate patient medical records
Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members

Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
Familiarity with medical software and equipment
Ability to build rapport with patients
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications and Skills

Completion of an accredited RN program
Shall Possess a current unrestricted license to practice as an RN in any one of the 50 States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands
Minimum of two years experience in the last three years
Maintain a current and unexpired Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate issued by American Heart Association
Possess a minimum of 1 year outpatient experience as an ambulatory care nurse within the last 2 years, with experience providing services in psychiatric nursing, behavioral health and/or wellness counseling.
Provide two letters of recommendation written within the preceding two years from practicing providers, supervisors or program administrators attesting to the HCW’s professional skills, competencies, patient rapport, training abilities, etc. Recommendation letters must include; name, title, phone number, date of recommendation,address and signature of the individual providing the recommendation.
Training requirement

The HCWs must successfully complete the Tri Service Behavioral Health Care Facilitator (BHCF) training course within 60 days of performance under the task order.
In addition, the HCWs must meet the passing criteria for BHCF core competencies as determined by a government expert trainer. This demonstration of BHCF core competencies may occur at any time after successful completion of the BHCF training.
Candidates without a current AHA BLS must indicate in their application they are willing to secure one within 10 days of offer letter
